Reclaiming your desires, healing scarcity, and becoming a wayshower for what’s possible.
Have you ever felt guilty for wanting more?
More ease. More wealth. More time, pleasure, or peace.
Maybe you catch yourself wishing things felt lighter, only to hear that inner voice whisper:
“But I should be grateful.”
“Other people are worse off.”
“Who am I to want more?”
This is something I see often with my clients—brilliant, loving women who give so much of themselves, but silently carry shame for desiring something greater.
They don’t always say it aloud.
Sometimes it shows up as envy of those who “have it easy.”
Sometimes it’s judgment: “She’s so entitled…”
And then… guilt for even thinking that way.
This internal conflict is not selfish. It’s human.
It reveals something important: a split between the part of you that longs to expand—and the part of you that was conditioned to believe that desire is dangerous.
The Scarcity Story We Were Sold
Most of us were raised in a collective consciousness of scarcity. It says:
If you have more, someone else must have less.
If you’re wealthy, someone else is poor.
If you rest, someone else has to work harder.
And while that might appear ‘logical’ from a limited lens, it’s simply not the truth of how consciousness—or real wealth—works.
The Truth About WEalth Consciousness
The energetic truth is: there is no real separation.
You can’t make yourself sicker to help someone else be well.
You can’t dim your light hoping others will finally shine.
So instead of shaming your desires, honour them.
Your longing is sacred. It’s not just about you—it’s a signal to the collective.
A woman who chooses to rise doesn’t rise alone.
She leads. She lights the path. She becomes the living permission for others to receive too.
Desire Is Not a Flaw. It’s a Compass.
From a neuropsychological perspective, your brain is wired for growth. It seeks expansion, evolution, fulfilment. That yearning you feel? It’s not greed—it’s life force.
But many of the women I work with don’t know what they truly desire—at least not right away.
They’ve spent years, even decades, being everything for everyone else.
When I ask, “What do you want?” they often answer with something noble or selfless:
“I just want peace for my kids.”
“I want to help others.”
“I just want to feel useful.”
And while those desires are beautiful… they’re often shaped by duty, not soul.
Beneath them, there is usually something deeper.
A truer desire waiting to be acknowledged.
A longing that’s been buried—not because it’s wrong, but because it felt too tender, too selfish, or too unfamiliar to name.
But here’s the truth:
Desire is sacred.
It is not a flaw to be managed. It is a spark to be followed.
And when you deny your truest desires—not the ones shaped by guilt or people-pleasing, but the ones etched on your soul—you don’t become more virtuous.
You become more disconnected.
If you don’t know what you want yet, start here:
✨ What would I want if I felt safe to want anything?
✨ What might I desire if I trusted it didn’t make me selfish?
That’s how the path begins—not with perfect clarity, but with permission to feel.
It is a spark to be followed.”
A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats
Your Next Step?
Take a breath. Place your hand on your heart. And ask yourself gently:
What desire have I been hiding?
Then—without shame—write it down. Name it. Honour it.
From Guilt to Receiving: Sarah's Story
One of my beautiful clients—let’s call her Sarah—came to me with a knot in her chest every time she even thought about taking a break or spending money on herself. She had always been the strong one, the giver, the caretaker. To ask for more—more support, more pleasure, more wealth—felt selfish, uncomfortable, shameful, even.
But deep down, she longed for ease. To stop surviving and start thriving.
Through our work together, Sarah began to untangle the unconscious guilt driving her lack of self-worth and over-responsibility. She tapped, calmed her nervous system, rewrote her money story, and started receiving- slowly at first and then without apology.
And something powerful happened.
She saw how others did love to give to her too. Her self esteem flourished, her confidence rose, her children softened, her business grew and her relationships deepened.
When she received, filling her cup first others around her rose too.
She became the lighthouse she was always knew she was meant to be.
What Keeps You From Receiving?
Even when the desire is clear, many women feel blocked from truly allowing it in. Here are a few of the most common subconscious beliefs I see:
– “If I have more, others will suffer.”
– “I haven’t worked hard enough to deserve it.”
– “I should be able to do it all on my own.”
– “It’s not spiritual to want money or ease.”
– “If I slow down, I’ll lose momentum or be left behind.”
– “I need to be perfect.”
These beliefs don’t come from truth—they come from old patterns of survival, trauma, and generational conditioning. And they can be gently rewired with the right awareness and support.
