From Heart-Break to Self-Love
Today, my life is filled with love—love for myself, my life, and all that surrounds me. It’s fun, fulfilling, joyful, and abundant. But this wasn’t always my reality. There was a time when I felt heartbroken, angry, disillusioned, and even ashamed. I felt invisible, unheard, and unappreciated. Deep down, I believed I was broken, not enough, and relentlessly searched for a “magic fix” to make everything better.
I put on a brave face, pretending to be okay, but all I truly longed for was to be seen, heard, and cherished for who I really was. I was exhausted by the act. My heart kept whispering to me, urging me to listen, but I avoided it for so long. I built walls around it, protected myself with armour, and locked my emotions away in a cage. Instead, I relied on my intellect—always the good girl, the helpful one, the one who tolerated everything but secretly seethed with frustration. I was deeply unhappy, but I kept up appearances as if everything was fine. Then, something shifted. I realised I held the key to unlock my heart and set it free.
I dared to feel my heart and face the truth I had avoided for so long: I had been unhappy for quite a while. I finally asked myself the questions I had buried beneath layers of fear and self-doubt. What did I truly want? What was my heart trying to tell me?
In that vulnerable space, I understood something life-changing: I had been the one who broke my own heart. It wasn’t the world, or other people, or circumstances—I had betrayed myself by over-giving, by being overly responsible for others while neglecting my own needs.
As I embarked on a healing journey, I began to embrace curiosity over judgement. I softened. Slowly, the journey became less painful and more liberating. I started to allow myself to receive the support I had always craved but unknowingly blocked. Life began to flow with more ease, and as I opened to new possibilities, opportunities appeared. I realised I had always been guided by my intuition, even when I wasn’t fully aware of it. Now, I was fine-tuning that inner voice, trusting it more and letting go of the need to control every detail of my life.
Today, I follow my heart because to do anything else would drain me completely. I know now that I am the creator of my life. I live in flow—free, easy, trusting, and filled with joy. Every day, I love myself and the world a little more. I am in awe of the beauty that unfolds as I let go and trust the journey.
This is my truth, my ever-expanding experience of life. I celebrate the journey, and I celebrate myself.
And I am passionate about sharing this with you as a guide and mentor—because I know what it feels like to give until there’s nothing left, to doubt your worth, to silence your own heart for the sake of others. I also know the freedom that comes when you finally choose yourself, when you trust your inner wisdom and allow life to meet you with grace.
My journey has led me here, to help women like you reclaim your power, soften into self-love, and live with an open, courageous heart. You are worthy of the love, peace, and joy you so freely give to others—and I’m here to help you remember that.
From Heart-Break to Self-Love
Today, my life is rich in love—for myself, others and the unfolding journey. It feels joyful, soul-led and abundant. But it wasn’t always that way.
There was a time I felt lost, overwhelmed and invisible. I wore a brave face, but inside I was exhausted. I had been over-giving and over-functioning—constantly managing everything and everyone but myself—all while pretending I was fine.
I longed to be cherished for who I truly was, but instead, I stayed in the role of the good girl—the helper, the peacekeeper, the one who never rocked the boat. I became a chronic people-pleaser, silencing my own heart in the name of being liked, needed and seen as capable.
I locked my emotions away, shut the door on my needs relying on intellect and control instead of intuition and self-worth. On the outside, I looked like I had it together. On the inside I was slowly disappearing.
And then something happened—an experience that shook me to my core and made me look at everything anew.
For the first time in a long time, I truly listened to my heart.
And I became honest—brutally honest—with myself.
Instead of blaming or staying in victimhood,
I chose myself. I walked away from what no longer aligned. And in that moment, I realised: I held the key.
To my locked heart.
To my freedom.
And I used it.
I set myself free.
I dared to feel my heart and face a truth I had been avoiding for far too long: I had been unhappy for a while. Not just tired. Not just stretched. Unhappy.
For the first time, I gave myself permission to ask the questions I’d buried beneath fear and self-doubt:
What do I truly want?
What is my heart trying to tell me?
And in that quiet, vulnerable space… something powerful emerged. I realised I had been the one who broke my own heart. It wasn’t the world, or other people, or circumstance.
It was me—abandoning myself, betraying my needs, putting everyone else first.
That moment didn’t shatter me.
It opened me.
It marked the beginning of my healing—
not by pushing or fixing, but by choosing curiosity over judgment, softness over self-blame.
As I began to receive the support I had always craved—but unknowingly blocked—
life started to flow with more ease. I softened. I breathed.
And in that softening, something else returned: my intuition.
That inner voice that had always been there, whispering beneath the noise. Now, I was learning to trust it. To let go of the need to control every detail. To live from within, not in reaction to the world around me. This was the beginning of my empowerment. Not the loud kind—but the quiet, steady, soul-led kind that rises from within.
Today, I follow my heart—because doing anything else drains me.
I know now that I am the creator of my life.
Not a fixer. Not a peacekeeper. Not a role I was handed.
But a sovereign woman choosing each moment with love and intention.
I live in flow—trusting myself, guided by spirit, rooted in enoughness.
Each day, I soften more. I open more.
And the more I let go, the more beauty life offers in return.
This is my truth.
My ever-expanding experience of freedom, joy, and self-love.
And now, I’m here to share this with you.
Because I know what it’s like to give until there’s nothing left.
To doubt your worth.
To silence your heart just to keep the peace.
And I know the quiet power that returns when you choose yourself again.
When you honour your inner wisdom.
When you let life meet you with grace, instead of force.
My journey led me here—to help heart-led women rise into wholeness, sovereignty, and ease.
To guide you back to your truth.
To remind you: you are already worthy of the life you long for.
And you don’t have to do it alone.

Create from alignment, not obligation or pressure
Honour your needs as sacred and non-negotiable
This work isn’t just mindset coaching—it’s soul-deep healing.
It softens your body, calms your nervous system, and brings you home to yourself.
It’s not about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering who you’ve always been—
before the roles, the conditioning, and the need to prove yourself.
You’ll stop searching outside yourself for permission.
You’ll return to a sustainable sense of peace, power, and possibility.
You’ll no longer carry the weight of others at the cost of your own wellbeing.
You’ll come home to your power—and rise from it, free.
This journey is about coming home to yourself.
It’s about shedding the layers of conditioning that told you to be small, silent, or selfless—
and stepping into the radiant truth of who you really are.
If your heart is whispering “there’s more for me…”
If you’re ready to walk a path of self-worth, soul-led power and peace—
Know that I’m here to walk beside you.
With love and empowerment,
Lauren xo
